Prepaid Card Terms and Conditions

• There is no refund possible when purchasing a prepaid card.
• A squash play period lasts for 45 minutes.
• If you do not cancel your court reservation in time (within 3 hours), we will have to charge you for the court rental (debiting from your balance on your account).
• If you cancel in time, the court rental will be credited as balance to your account.

Membership Terms and Conditions

Membership terms and conditions apply only to the indicated duration, price, and number of times as stated below. The membership is strictly personal and non-transferable. Third parties cannot derive any rights from it.

1. Unlimited Membership
   • Terms & Conditions – Squash: You have unlimited playing time, but you may only book a court 2 x per week. As well as these 2 bookings, you may play as often as you like, if a court is available. You can book a court 6 days in advance (e.g. on Monday after 24.00 you can book a court for the following Monday) and the booking will be for 2 members. Each booking is for a time slot of 45 minutes. Booking 2 consecutive time slots is not permitted.
   • Rules for the other facilities:You can make unlimited use of our sports facilities and sauna (if open) during Houtrust Squash’s opening times.

2. Off-peak & Student Membership
   • Terms & Conditions – Squash:
     With these memberships you have unlimited playing time from Mon – Thurs from 08.30 to 18.00, Friday from 8.30 to 23.30, Sat from 9.00 to 16.45, and Sun from 13.00 to 16.45. You may not book a court in advance. Each time slot is 45 minutes.
   • Rules for the other facilities:
     You can make unlimited use of our sports facilities and sauna (if open) during Houtrust Squash’s off-peak times.

3. Junior Membership – 18 and under
   • Terms & Conditions – Squash:
     With this membership you have unlimited playing time from Mon – Thurs from 08.30 to 18.00, Friday from 8.30 to 23.30, Sat from 9.00 to 16.45 and Sun from 13.00 to 16.45. You may not book a court in advance. Each time slot is 45 minutes.
   • Rules for other facilities:
     Junior members aged 12 and older only have access to the gym during Houtrust Squash’s off-peak times:
     –       Members under 16 years of age may only make use of the cardio equipment.
     –       Members 16+ may make use of all the equipment with restricted weight training.
     The sauna facilities may be used by members who are 16 or older.

4. Changes to times and rates
   Houtrust Squash has the right to change the times when their facilities can be used, the lay-out of the facilities and their rates at any time. Price changes will not affect existing annual memberships. For memberships that are paid monthly, the price change will only come into effect at the start of the new payment period.
   Any changes that Houtrust Squash makes will come into effect from the moment that Houtrust Squash announces it, no matter how this announcement is made.

5. Direct debit
   • Monthly payment
     If you choose to pay monthly, the cost is paid in advance every month by direct debit. If we do not receive payment because the direct debit is declined, we try to process the direct debit a second time. If it is declined again, we reserve the right to charge a € 3.- administration fee and/or deny you the right to use our facilities until the amount owed is paid in full.
   • Temporary termination of a direct debit
     A direct debit may only be temporarily terminated in cases where a member has a long-term injury, on medical grounds or because of a long-term post abroad. Terminating a direct debit may only be done after Houtrust Squash has given written (mail) permission. The notice period for terminating a direct debit is 1 calendar month. It is not possible to cancel a direct debit because of a vacation. After the temporary termination period the member can reactivate the direct debit (membership) at the front desk.

6. Cancellation
   • Membership with monthly payments
     A membership that is paid monthly can be cancelled after the second month of the membership (you can cancel after the second month, so your membership stops after 3 months).
     Membership can be cancelled per 1 calendar month, before the 1st of the next month. Cancellation should be done in writing or by email. If no cancellation notice is received or it is not received on time, the membership agreement will automatically be extended for a further month.
   • Annual Membership, paid in one lump sum
     No refund can be given for a membership that has been paid in full and cancelled early.

GENERAL

1. Any instructions given by the team should be strictly followed;
2. It is not permitted to bring your own food and drink;
3. All trash should be placed in the bins provided;
4. Smoking is only allowed on the terrace or in the porch area;
5. Use of a mobile phone for making calls is not permitted on the courts, while using the sports facilities or in the sauna area;
6. Use of muscle enhancing products is not permitted;
7. Dogs are welcome;
8. Sales and/or advertising activities are not allowed without the permission of Houtrust Squash;
9. Verbal and/or physical abuse will not be tolerated;
10. Any kind of harassment will not be tolerated at Houtrust Squash;
11. We advise you to make use of the lockers provided to store your property;
12. Please do not leave any property behind in the lockers when you have finished. The lockers are opened and checked daily;
13. For hygiene purposes, shaving in the showers / changing rooms is not allowed;
14. Please get dried in the shower area of the changing room;

SQUASH

1. Booking a specific court cannot be guaranteed;
2. Entering the squash courts with dirty shoes (mud, gravel, sand, etc.) or shoes with (black) soles that leave marks is not permitted. Failure to adhere to this rule will result in a charge for cleaning costs (minimum € 50);
3. Players should always wear appropriate sports attire while playing;
4. Food and drink are not allowed on the courts;
5. Playing for money or goods is not permitted;
6. Jackets and bags are not allowed on the courts

GYM / SPORTS FACILITIES

1. The use of a towel is obligatory while training;
2. It is obligatory to wear clean and appropriate sports shoes (no flip-flops / sandals) and appropriate sports clothes;
3. The equipment may only be used for the purposes for which it was intended;
4. The equipment must be cleaned after use;
5. After use, place all materials back in the right place;
6. Food is not allowed in the sports areas;
7. Drinks may only be taken into the sports areas in a closable bottle/bidon;
8. Use of a mobile phone to make calls is not permitted in the sports areas;
9. It is not permitted to reserve any of the equipment when you are not using it;
10. Jackets and bags are not allowed in the sports areas;
11. Only children aged 12 and older may use the cardio equipment; from age 16 they can also use a limited amount of the weight training equipment;

SAUNA

1. Take a shower before using the sauna and steam room;
2. Always sit on a towel. This is compulsory, except in the steam room;
3. Food is not allowed here;
4. You are not allowed to bring anything glass in here. All drinks must be in a closable bottle / bidon;
5. Taking photographs or filming is strictly forbidden;
6. Wearing swimwear or underwear is not allowed;
7. Bags, etc. are not allowed in here. We suggest you store your belongings in one of the lockers provided;
8. Access to the whole sauna area is open to everyone 16 or older. On Sunday from 13:00 to 15:00 children are allowed to use the sauna area, with the permission and under the responsibility of their parent/guardian.

Personal data is managed by us through the Baanreserveren.nl system. We use and process data through their system, which handles the technology behind the customer system and uses it for court reservations, fitness, and group lessons. They take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data from unauthorised access, loss, or any form of unlawful processing. 4.Sharing of data

We do not share personal data with third parties unless necessary for the execution of our services or required by law. If we need to share information, we ensure that it is done in accordance with applicable legislation.

Due to tax legislation, your data must be retained for at least seven years. If you want your data to be deleted, it will be made invisible until the seven-year period has elapsed, and then it will be permanently deleted.
